A few comments about MelanSol®…

As someone who abused her skin for about 40 years, with beach volleyball, tennis, bike riding and endless sunbathing and beach time, most of without the benefit of sunscreen, and then subsequently employing bad sunscreens, I'm so happy to have found your product. My husband and I are both fair, as is our daughter and her husband and her three year old, so we were really on a search to find a natural, effective, quality product. Our daughter had researched it thoroughly and tried many products available locally, but most were so unpleasant to wear her husband rebelled. I had sent her a MelanSol many months ago but they had run out and were using something that smelled like bear grease. Her husband exclaimed, "I hate this stuff! What good is sunscreen if you won't wear it? I'm always getting burnt because I can't stand it! Why can't we get some Banana boat or something?" I always wanted to use one product instead of 4: primer, moisturizer, antioxidant and sunscreen - since my mornings are usually hectic. I tried several products including Almay Regimen Moisturizer SPF 15 with grapeseed, Coppertone Ultra Sheer Faces SPF 30 with retinol, Dove's Energy Glow Brightening Moisturizer with SPF 15 and few others. These are all above average products, and my skin never complained, but my eyes used to hurt if this stuff got anywhere around them. Coppertone's smell is not very appealing too, and Dove is too glittery. But again, my skin was fine with these products, never broke out or anything, so I thought I was happy. Lately, I heard rumors about this company in Florida that makes all-natural-absolutely-no-chemicals sunscreen that also actually improves skin, and thought I had to give it a try. Now, I'm not going back to the products I used before (and since I have some of them left, I'll just use them on my body). Although people who talked about MelanSol and raved about how wonderful it feels were still complaining about the smell, I actually liked the smell: a very natural and fresh. Too bad it disappears after about 20 minutes after application. The sunscreen has Bio-Melanin in its ingredients, which is a very powerful antioxidant, Mineral Pigments, Green Tea and Vitamin E. But the best part is that I USED IT ON MY EYES, and it didn't irritate them a bit! I don't have to use separate eye sunscreen on my eyes anymore, and I appreciate this convenience. It's too early to say if it improves my skin, but we'll see. I really like the fact that I receive a good sun protection without any chemicals applied on my face, and I don't have to use primer, because makeup lines up nicely on it.

“The 100% pure ingredient MelanSol arrived on Oct. 4, 2007. The  next  day  I  used  MelanSol  and  was  surprised  that  the smell  from the ingredient  Coconut Oil was  not  stronger to give it that sunscreen smell (as some  other sunscreens do). For  all  the  ingredients  it  has  it  does  not give  a  particular  identifiable smell...but  the texture is smooth and soft I would say like Nivea  cream or lotion. But after it is on the skin it feels wonderful and no smell is present anymore. No more drying skin and no more being scared of side effect from the ingredients. Thanks for a terrific product.
